Landmark cultural centre: photography wins 3 RIBA awards

Foster & Crane had completed a landmark cultural centre — one of the most significant public buildings in the UK that decade — but their in-house imagery failed to capture the spatial drama and material quality needed for RIBA award submissions and Dezeen publication.

M3CA undertook a 4-day shoot of the completed building at multiple times of day, capturing the interplay of natural light across the structure's signature staircase atrium and glass curtain wall. M3CA's post-production team enhanced tonal range and shadow detail using a bespoke multi-exposure blending workflow, delivering imagery that conveyed the building's true scale and material integrity. A dedicated award submission pack was assembled with cropped, annotated imagery to RIBA specification.
